Well....I went to check today and the ebay ad is still up...and the seller was nice enough to respond to me telling them that it is illegal to sell live animals on Ebay. I also said it was sad because they don't even know that this puppy will go to a good home. It literally would go to the first person who offers to pay $500 for it.

Here was their response....

First of all I had no idea that I was not able to sell the puppy in this venue. However, ebay can contact me. Not you! Don't judge me, because you have no Heaven or Hell to put anyone! I guess you don't have enough going on in your own life and that is why you are in my business attempting to create chaos. Since that seems to be what you like I pray God gives you enough of it in your life so you can mind your own business!

Sooo...I decided to give Ebay a call this morning to follow up on the report. The guy said that I was not the only one who had emailed her. Apparently, A LOT of people are disturbed by the posting. He said that it would be taken care of within the next 48-72 hours and thanked me for caring enough to call!!

Doesn't this persons response to me sound eerily familiar to another post where people were calling another breeder out for their unethical breeding practices and the way they sell puppies?!? I can't place my finger on it...but I swear someone else was bringing GOD into it in virtually the same way to deflect the fact that what they were doing with their breeding/selling puppies was wrong.

Sadly, I have plenty of other things to do other than report idiots for posting dogs on EBAY....I wish I wouldn't have to take time out of my day to do it, but unfortunately, if we don't advocate for these little guys, who will.
