Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I would take Minnie to the vet for the diarrhea and vomiting. It's not very likely that it is just an emotional reaction to a new pup in the house, although stress can be a contributing cause of illness.

In terms of relations between Minnie and Ted, you have an uphill battle since Minnie doesn't have a history of liking other dogs. Energetic puppies can be annoying to older dogs, especially if Minnie prefers to relax. Make sure she has a place to escape Ted when she wants.

Be sure to give Minnie lots of attention and her maintain her usual belly rubs. Greet her first, hand her treats and food first.

Supervise closely and separate the two when you can't supervise.
