 Memories of our past furry-friends!
I know what you mean about keeping the clothes with Gus's hair; l still have my miniature Schnauzer's collar & tags from the 1980's! Poor "Bart" as we called him (Deveshund Swartz Bart: My Dog Black Beard ) had an elderly dog's failing kidney/urinary tract problem that left him with very bad sores on his body. Finally had to have him put to sleep; he was a gentle, smart little guy. So, I am now enjoying my 'second dog', after retiring from teaching, my little Yorkie-boy, 'Taffy', whom I got in fall, 2010. His name is actually "Toffee Confection", but I found it much easier to say Taffy. My husband, the confirmed cat-lover, dotes on this little guy! They are sharing a lounge chair, watching t.v. right now! |
