Paw licking/chewing is a cardinal sign of allergies, so I'm not surprised you saw this symptom during this time. How are the pollens in your area currently (go to pollen.com and enter your zip)? You live in the south where it's still quite warm, so I wonder if she has developed some seasonal allergies...hopefully it's something seasonal and not something like dust, which is obvs much harder to manage.

Did you feed her anything new, any new treats?
