Just reading the description makes me cringe... I nicked both Magnus and Zoey couple times. It was HORRIBLE! I think you should put one of those soft e-collars on him when not supervised... If he licks it too much, it might take longer to heal. Also use antibiotic ointment like Patti suggested.
I don't know who I feel worse for... the groomer, you, or Dex.
