For photos you should always convert to jpg instead of png. png photos will have about 10 times the filesize of jpg photos that look exactly the same, so it might make it cheaper to run your website to convert your photos to jpeg (much less bandwidth for your photos). However, don't convert the graphics for the website, like the clovers, to jpg. Any drawing will look horrible in jpg, and much better in png; jpg is really made for photographs. |
