From my personal experience, once I shaved off their hair w/a clipper, it never grew back the same. Their hair grew in thicker, so it might actually be better for Alphie. I will take your advice on board and discuss with the groomer, he is booked in for the week before the testing. I think they are supposed to be pretty good, I will have to take his own shampoo for them to use and tell them not to use a dryer, we always let him air dry only takes about 3 minutes cos of his coat.
