I flew from Baltimore to Michigan to pick up Mia. Lori met me at the airport, and took me back to her house to sign the papers. It's great because you can see the parents and check out the environment. She then dropped me back off at the airport. I brought along an empty travel bag for Mia. I had to buy her a dog ticket ($75. one way on Southwest). She rode with me in cabin. I have heard of the breeder meeting people at the airport too. Most airports have doggie potty areas, so look up where that is located in case you have a layover between your flights. Best wishes to you on finding the new, perfect addition to your sweet family.
