Isabella passed away in her sleep last week. I miss her so much. She was only with us for about 11 months, but she was such a blessing. I don't know much about her life before my husband found her on that rainy day last October, but I do know that she was very much loved since she came to live with us.

I imagine her being young again and being able to see and hear and run with all the other cherished animals in heaven. My house is so empty now. My dh is deployed to Afganistan right now and it was so hard to tell him that Isabella had passed.

It has been a tough year for me as shortly after adopting Isabella my mom had a stroke and I have been consumed with taking care of her as much as I can.

I wanted to post a couple of happy photos of Isabella in remembrance of her kind and loving spirit.
