A single puppy doesn't have to share the room of the womb. I had a cat, Pepper, who had only 1 kitten, he was born via c-section, and was as long as my hand, I'm 6'2" and I have big hands. As long as mom and puppy are healthy, you shouldn't have any problems. Good luck.
