I think it depends on the yorkie and how they are with the cold. I started with my pup at 8wks putting him outside to potty in the middle of winter and he hasn't minded the cold, if anything I could never get him back in the house
but if it's wet and rainy, forget it, he'll try to have an "accident" in the house lol. Just make sure she has her booties
