I wanted to update that both our babies have found wonderful, loving new homes. Bella with our neighbors (a lovely retired couple who we know are huge dog lovers who's beloved poodle passed from old age a few months back) just a few houses down, so we will still see her. Baci with another wonderful retired couple a few hours away. We got a lot of interest through both our vet specialist forwarding their information through the vet school and the local rescue posting about them. We talked with many potential families and finally found the perfect one, did our vet check, visited them and truly know that it's a perfect match for him. He is going to be very loved and spoiled (and no longer chased by small children). They are already sending us pictures and updates. Thank you for the supportive words as we made this incredibly difficult heart-wrenching decision.
