I thought my little one was the only one that talks back when I tell her no .. her nick name is Sassafrass as she sass's us so much when she gets told no .... we found Holly chewing a rock the other day too .... I equate this stage like the terrible 2's of a child and all of us parents remember those time :-)
Definitely plenty of chew toys ... spend lots of time playing as this distracts the chewing of your fingers and hands ... I've found that playing fetch with a stuffed toy or even a rope toy gets the energy out of her as well
