Are there any vet schools near you? That would be the best place to go, as they usually have all the specialty doctors and testing equipment right there (less running for you and better care for your dog). With neck problems, it's best to get it diagnosed as soon as possible, like yesterday, and keep the dog/pup confined and quiet in the interim, to prevent further injury.

Are you near UC Davis?
