Which is not to say we have nothing that we can do. We can provide alternative information, cogent arguments, pictures of dogs that meet the standard even showing some variation in a bit of things, size, face, ears, etc.
WE can speak frankly about the health issues of our breed(s), and why genetic testing and developing those tests are so important, and how the reputable Registries, and the National Clubs do their best to contribute to said funding.
WE can support forums such as this, with good information, and support for dog owners, breeders and the general public. |  
Education is the key!! Someone needs to make bumper stickers and t-shirts that say "there's no such thing as a Teacup Yorkie!!" |
