Oh I'm so sorry!
I had a horrible experience with PetSmart with my Gigi for her first cut, too! I asked for a bit of a trim around her beard to keep it out of the water and for her ears to be trimmed a bit. Went back to get her and her WHOLE FACE was shaved! Whiskers, too! I was so upset I cried, too. I will never go there again.
My male, Rascal, we keep trimmed really short because of his cottony coat {I do it myself since it mats like crazy}, so we really had no idea how bad this would be like. It was awful. I complained on FB and to corporate. All they did was send me a 10% off my next grooming appointment! I think not!
Her face took a really long time to grow back, too. We found that the groomer at the kennel we use is fabulous and does an amazing job. I will never send my dogs to PetSmart or PetCo again, nor will I recommend them.
