
Toto has the same problem ... groomer shaved up her nose after being asked not to! That was over a year ago and it's just now beginning to look halfway decent. When it grows long enough to be caught up in the topknot, the rest goes down into the mustache like Shatzie said. You have to be careful of the prickly hairs causing eye infection which is one reason I didn't want Toto's shaved. After yet another bad groomer experience last Friday ... if the vet we're seeing tomorrow can do the nail trimming, ear hair pulling and gland expression ... then Toto has a new groomer .... ME!!

I can do everything else but just don't trust myself to do those nails, ear hairs & gland! I told her the top of her ears didn't need
anything done [I have been so careful getting it shaped and the longer hairs growing just right] and she
shaved around the tips of her ears and evidently the scissors slipped on one of them and she left about a half inch of those beautiful little "plumes" sticking straight up!!! OMG ... I'm getting mad again ... sorry ... I'm going to my happy place now!!
