 biting...
My puppy bites ALL THE TIME but we started a training class last week and the trainer suggested we hold a treat in our hand but covering most of it so she has to lick/bite to get to it - when she bites say loudly uh uh and when she licks praise and when she just lightly scrapes her teeth its ok too (since she is trying to get to the treat) then let her have a little when she does the right thing.... she still bites alot but she has been licking more since we started this exercise...
but like i said its new so i dont know how well it will work just a suggestion |
