@bunnyfufu, I am so sorry for the horrible, unnecessary loss of you precious pup.
I once heard that pet grooming is a job with the fastest "burnout" rate; people just get tired and impatient with dogs. Even if they basically like dogs, they don't love the one on the table as much as you do, so they get impatient when the dog doesn't behave as they would like, and that's when dogs get abused.
That is why I don't take mine to the groomer. They may not look as perfect when I groom them, but all 4 of them look pretty darn good and have gotten used to the routine.
