Unfortunately Toby was born with a heart condition pulmonic stenosis....could not operate as the vet felt he would not survive the operation. When we found out about his condition I immediately contacted the breeder to advise of the situation and advise that if she continues to breed this could happen to another owner.....all calls went unanswered. The vet gave Toby a year to a year and a half to live, he made it to 13 months and 12 days sadly.
I am extremely sad that Toby is not with us today however I know that the life we were able to provide him was very very loving!! Toby was the very first yorkie I have ever had the pleasure to be a mommy too, just wish our time together could have been longer. |
