Wow 8 weeks old. He's just a tiny little angel. I've never had a problem with introducing a new dog but I never fuss over the newbie in front of the older dog. I'd keep an eye on Peanut because not meaning to he could seriously hurt Gus. I usually sit on the floor with both dogs and talk to them in a calm voice. Sitting will help you control Gus because I'm sure he's full of it and will probably want to investigate Peanut. I definitely would crate Gus at night until he's housebroken and until he can be trusted not to annoy the snot out of Peanut. Peanut will accept him but it takes some time because he's no longer number 1. Give him lots of love and soon he and Gus will be best of friends. Post pics.
