Our first dog, a cockapoo, was like that! Dad would give her the pill and she would spit it out 10 minutes later.
Max will take anything, but Teddy is a challenge. Food does not help. I have to put the pill in his mouth and hold his mouth shut until he gives up and swallows. Then I give him a treat.
