When I first got Midori she hated it too. She still hates getting the bows in, I have to hold her head and put her in between my knees. But, once I get the thing in she could care less. She doesn't try to take them out or anything. It just takes time and practice with the baths, Oh and don't forget the blow dryer!! Yikes! (It helps if you keep the dryer way far away) Dori also hates the clippers I use on her ears, but last time I was using them to trim her after her bath she was really calm. I looked down into her face and for a split second I though she was dead because she was not squirming or shaking and her eyes were closed!! I quickly realized that she had fallen asleep WHILE I was shaving her ears! I NEVER though I would see that day! So there is hope!

It also helps to put the bows in while they are sleeping. They still wake up but they usually tolerate it a little better, too tired to care!!
