Thank you everyone! Princess is eating well & taking her antibiotics w/out fighting me. She's such a good girl. She hasn't had a BM today yet...maybe that's a sign that the antibiotics are working. Unless her poopie is back to normal, I picked up little firm ones this morn. W/4, sometimes it's hard to figure out who's is who's, I kinda know by the shape loll.

For what it's worth and just so you'll know in the future, my dog did not have vomiting or diarrhea. His appetite was off but he was still eating, just not as much or with as much gusto as usual. And his cPL test came back at 459. So those symptoms can point you in the right direction but not all dogs have any or even some of the symptoms.

Yeah, it seems like Princess doesn't do well w/Beef in general. She was very sick awhile back when she was living w/my aunt for a short time (bc I moved) & she had lost half a #! Half a # for a Yorkie is a lot, she was skin & bones.

She wouldn't eat, so my aunt gave her steak (they BBQ a lot) & I had to take her back & nurse her back to health. I don't know what I was thinking when I gave her canned beef, I thought since it's made for dogs, it would be ok. Never again.
I'm glad the vet suggested doing the cpl test bc like you mentioned, some dogs do not show signs of pancreatitis, like vomiting & nausea. It would have been horrible if she had it & I didn't test for it. I hope Scooby doesn't get another attack & stays healthy!
