This has been discussed on this forum previously and people fear it. All I can say is that I have used it without an issue...I no longer use it but not because it is not useful. At the time I did use it, the need for dentals in my pups did seem to extend a bit. I called the company and was send information regarding this product that made me feel it was safe to use. The amount of Xylitol in it is not toxic. I also know a man who has used it for his pup and he has seen good results with it. That's about all I can say.

If a pup already has serious periodontal disease it probably won't do much good anyway.
My high risk pup, George, is having a dental next Wednesday...while I am very concerned about it, I must do it or he is going to die from either cardiac or renal issues and I am not willing to let him go through that when I can prevent it. He is going to a specialist...my vet is not comfortable doing his dental and I am with her on that!
