I had Faith to the vet today and she needs a dental done on her teeth, but because of her condition, it would be too high risk to try it. The vet suggested CET AquaDent which is a drinking water additive and gave me a free sample. I found it on the internet so I could be sure of how much of the stuff to use, and was shocked to see, listed as the 3rd ingredient was Xylitol! Huh? Why would they put something so very toxic to dogs in a dental care for dogs? I certainly will not be using this on any of my dogs. How ridiculous! I'm so thankful I noticed that before adding it to the water bowl! I am going to email the vet and let her know, as I'm sure she has no idea there is xylitol in it.
I found this info on it, if you'd like to see it:
