After thinking about it all day I did start to wonder if the dog was even his. I was even considering the possibility that he was stealing the dog! Maybe I should just wait until the end of the week when I go back for more food. I could just ask if the pup has been back. I certainly didn't witness any abuse firsthand. The poor little girl just didn't look happy at all.
