My yorkie, shorkie and my granddog have had something within the last 2 months with these same symptoms. My granddog has not visited in about 4 months. Very strange. And I am in NC. Thank goodness, they have pulled through. The vet said it is a viral infection that can be passed from dog to dog. It absolutely scared me to death when I saw blood coming out their rectum. I have one other shi-poo that has not gotten it. Fingers crossed. |
