 need advice on yorkie puppy
Hello. I just stumbled across this message board. My dh and I are looking to buy/adopt a puppy. I really want a Yorkie and he want a Dachshund. We have two ds's ages 4yrs and 8mo and we also have a 3yr old male cat. My dh does not want a Yorkie as he feels they are too delicate to have around two boys and they are yappers and barkers. I feel we can train one to not be a yapper and that it would be fine with our boys. I saw an ad in the paper for a Dorkie. Does anyone here have experience with these? I really would love any and all advice, do's & dont's etc. We are to go look at some puppies tomorrow morning. TIA Kim |
