Oh my God, it rained yesterday and the ground is still soaked, and the last two days Cookie will not go pee outside except right after waking up in the morning. I don't know if she hates the mud or the wet grass, but she has gone on the carpet 4 times these last two days and is driving me wild with her crying now that I'm crating her.

I hate making the crate a place to punish her, but there is no other way right now when she is refusing to go outside on our trips. I don't have floor space for any kind of real playpen.

Usually when there is heavy rain I can get her to go real quick and she runs to the door, but no such luck now. Maybe because this is the first rain we have had since early July?
