I agree with both comments above. You need to have Heidi looked at ASAP. Moreover, my vet does not give more than two shots at one time. Most of the time he only gives them one shot per visit. No one can determine which dog will have a negative response to a vaccine so it is better to exercise on the safe side. It is not worth the risk for these little guys. I don't mean to preach. I know you are following your vet's advice and he is doing what he believes is best. It just seems that I read at least 2-3 posts every week that a dog has a negative response to vaccinations. Heidi will probably improve once the medications work through her system but for some dogs the damage can be permanent.

I also agree that the Kennel Cough vaccine is needed only if you are going to board your dog or take him to groomer. If you groom Heidi yourself and do not board her then she does not need the vaccine. Dr. Ron Schultz and several other experts have a lot of good information to read on the internet about vaccines. You may want to consider titter tests prior to vaccinating. I hope everything works out and Heidi gets better. Please keep us advised.
