Luma is my little ragdoll...I can do anything to her and she sits and lets me. I never have to worry about her jerking away when I trim her paws, ears, or near her eyes. She loves to be held on her back like a baby. Always has. So when we got Rosie and Rosie acted like we were murdering her by putting her on her back, I was shocked and kind of upset that she didn't trust me.
I guess I forgot that I would have to build trust with her. Luma didn't mind it as a puppy. Rosie has slowly gotten used to us and she will flip over for belly rubs but is cautious about it and doesn't really like to be picked up or flipped over. I think part of it is trust and part of it is just built into their personality.
ETA: Luma and Rosie are full siblings from different litters. They are sisters but they have very distinct and different personalities!
