My dogs wouldn't drink the dog essential in their water bowl or in their food. So now I have the cat essential because I thought the salmon flavor would be more appealing. Well it's not. So I give it to them after meals in little ramekin type bowls and add chicken broth. They seem to drink it up. I really like the product, I feel like it washes their mouths out after they eat and gives nice breath.
