For example.. my yorkie Tillys playmate is a great dane . My dane is gentle and loving towards her but I have so many questions,

Firstly - she eats EVERYTHING! my dane did but he was big enough to pass things through and I worry 100 percent more with her being so tiny.. she brought a slug in to me last week!

You really need to watch her that she doesn't eat anything she shouldn't. There have been some really scary stories here about little ones eating the most unlikely things and ending up in the emergency room.

Second - her coat.. how long will it grow at the moment she just looks shaggy all round her face but her body isnt nearly as fluffy take a pic and it always looks short haired.

She is more than likely a smooth coat Yorkie. I've noticed through my years of raising and being around Yorkies that that type of hair takes longer to grow in than a cotton coat would. They tend to be thinner and a bit gruffly looking too. Just give it some time, it will get there. Typically within a years time they should have a full coat. Some longer and thicker than others.

Third- house training.. wow she is stubborn she is 10 weeks old and ALWAYS goes to the puppy pad to pee.. trouble is we have one in each room ... remove one and she does it on the floor... am I making good enough progress for her age or should I be looking to get her trained to go to the door by now?

Instead of going through a long dragged out post I will just direct you to my link below in my signature. I have had great success with using the methods on my site and I hope you will too.

Also occasionally I have noticed she coughs. Not always and not every day but she does cough occasionally.

Could just be a piece of food stuck.

Also she eats her own poop! She had a full bill of health from vet, has her second injection in week and half time she was wormed on panacur - vet asked my opinion on microchipping her and I sounded my concerns to her size and agreed to chip her at 6 months when she has her spay surgery.

The eating her own poop bothers me, she will poop,,, then turn round and try to gobble it up.. Not pleasant!!!

Ok good luck with that one, my oldest gal who eats her poo is 9 and I have tired for years so I am no help there, sorry.

All hints and tips would be gratefully apprechiated. Also have any of you taken your yorkies to puppy classes? Tilly I have socialised round a few of my friends dogs but here im talking german shepherd, labradoor etc... I also wish her to have a social side to other mini dogs too!
Hopefully this has been of some help to you.
