I get that people get frustrated, I really do... but just realize that now getting him back next time is going to be that much harder, because he is going to expect to be spanked when he DOES come. You just need to train your dog, and teach him a reliable recall. Have you ever even tried to work on it? Dogs don't come programmed knowing what to do. Of course running is going to be fun to a dog, and now that he knows he gets spanked when he is going to get picked up, why would he ever wanna come back to you? |
