Strange.
Maybe vet fears reaction, but they can react from intranasal too. It isn't a vaccine where dogs tend to go into shock like leto. Fairly benign as far as vaccines go. I don't like all thereports of nasal issues caused by the intranasal vaccine.
Benadryl before is not a big deal if it makes vet feel better.
