Default Help! My Yorkie with tongue to the side

We have a 10 year old yorkie whose tongue just started doing something strange. When Kirby sticks his tongue out to give us a kiss his tongue deviates to the right. He is eating and drinking. He has slowed down physically as far as climbing stairs and running and jumping. But, we figured this was normal aging
behavior. The only other symptom that seems new along with the tongue-thing
is that in the last month or so he has started snoring loudly with some snorting sounds. Sometimes, his breathing also seems labored. From this site, I know
that Yorkies at times have all sorts of snoring and breathing symptoms that turn out to be normal. We will take him to the vet on Monday. But I was wondering
if anyone out there has some ideas on this tongue symptom. Thanks.
