He is one of a handful of veterinary dentists in the US. I took my Biewer to him this past June after our vet thought he had an unstable jaw. I emailed the Animal Medical Center dental department over Memorial Day weekend. Dr. Dan Carmichael emailed me back promptly. He stayed in touch during that holiday weekend, asking a ton of questions and reviewing blood work that I had faxed over. Ultimately Bandit did not have an unstable jaw, but did need some other dental procedures due to his tiny size. I cannot say enough about the care and treatment we received from Dr.Carmichael and the staff at the Animal Medical Center of NY. I am sure he will respond to your questions and concerns and give you any help he can. Some people are just "good guys". Keep us updated. Good luck.
