Sorry for you loss, how broken your heart must be. I also lost my beloved poodle after 16 years of her with me. I didn't think I would ever get another dog, but then I saw a lovely yorkie at our campground and I was hooked. I found Boomer and the rest will be history. The hurt does heal with time, but the memories never go away.
