Your post very much amuses me, I think because I am relating! Love the surprise attack description. Also, know what you mean about a battery going dead. Makes me want to rip my hair out. Ahhhh!
Thinking about the confined space... I do think I relax if I know my dogs cannot get away. I have just figured out that I can put the xpen across the entrance to my front porch and that keeps the pups confined on the porch. I have started doing this in other areas too, like my neighbor's yard with beautiful flowers. Honestly, Piccolo is the only one I can trust not to run away, if I have her out beyond the fences. I wonder if they can read my nervous vibs?
