I have been using PlaqClnz gel. It has no alcohol. Even with feeding PMR, frozen, and complex meals like deer spine, I still cannot keep the 2 upper canines clear of plaque. The rest of the teeth are perfect.
I normally brush with coconut oil and follow up with PlaqClnz. My dog has genetically horrible teeth, however, he has not had a dental in over 2 years. I think for those who feed kibble, canned, premade raw, and homecooked, PlaqClnz might help for maintenance after a good teeth cleaning.
Their website is here: PlaqClnz | Fresh Breath. Healthy Mouth. Happier Pet.
I bought mine on Amazon for about $15.
