Mine are doing that too. It could be from plants outside, or sometimes if a bit of dust/dirt or a stray hair gets in the eye(s) you'll see mucous in the morning. If it continues or gets worse, I'd have the vet look at it. Usually just a mild antihistamine might be called for to get it under control, especially if she's itchy too.
