No you just have to spray in their mouth. it should also come with a dropper if you think it would be easier to give it that way. I'll admit, that this past year I haven't been using the Leba III as much as I should. Maybe that's why some tartar built up. I've been brushing their teeth as well but you aren't supposed to do that. Sometimes I brush their teeth without any toothpaste on it just to brush off anything that may be on their teeth.
Does your dog already have build up? There's really not a lot of information out there on Leba III and many vets I've gone to don't know much about it. But they are always telling me how amazing my dog's teeth look and they say "just keep doing what you are doing".
Amazon is probably your best bet.
