I've been a nervous wreck wanting today to be over. Scooter had his teeth cleaned 11/2011 but he's been having terrible breath so I took him to a vet who only does dental work for dogs and cats. Expensive yes but I feel that Scooter received far, far better care than when I took him last time to a new vet in the neighborhood. He had an abscess and a loose tooth.
He had one premolar pulled along with 2 incisors. I feel like the worst pet owner in the universe that I didn't know he was having those problems. I'm so angry with the vet who did the cleaning last time because she didn't see he was having problems. Anyway he's sleeping it off and I know he'll be much better off now. I brush his teeth every other day but I'm so filled with guilt now. Bad Mommy.
