I think I will disagree with waiting one year. I can give the puppy better food, more nutrition and no poisons with raw. I'm not sure how to start, but I will find out before I get him. My ole poodle was being slowly poisoned her whole life. I don't believe there is a kibble out there that is nutritionally complete for any dog or puppy. Dogs septics are not made to digest grain or cooked kibble, this I know for sure. If I could do it over, I would have fed my first dog raw and not had all the years of health issues that I had. I have lots of time on my hands, I will figure it out.
