It's true that all of the articles about improper usage are old. Here's a site that talks about the current resurgence to get people to adhere to FBs rules. This article is from 6/6/10 so you can see it's been something that's been around for awhile. Facebook Deleting Pet Accounts and Accounts With Animal Profile Pics? - Facebook Rumour

BTW, these aren't new rules; they've been part of FBs user agreement for a very long time.
Perhaps, but not everyone understands all of the ins and outs of FB. It took me quite a while to understand that I had to do it for the YHR acct. I consider myself computer literate and find that site to have a pretty high learning curve.

From what I have been seeing lately, I cannot help but wonder if, since it is cropping up at certain times out of the blue, disgruntled folks are reporting others. With the amount of profiles on FB, it really does not make sense to me that they just happened upon some of them. So sad but that is what people do. They tried to do it to YHR just recently...trying to stop our fundraising...reported us to Paypal. Of course, it was handled appropriately, but I found it disgusting that someone would stoop so low.
