Brown Recluse Spider Info After the stories recently about dogs being bitten by the Brown Recluse I decided to do some research.
The spiders can be a yellowish tan to a dark brown. They can be from 3/4" to 3" long.
The best way to kill these spiders is with a spider trap. Most insecticides won't kill them.
They don't spin webs. They hide out in dark places.
They stray from their hiding spot about an hour or 2 after dark.
Now that I have freaked myself out I thought I would share.
