New puppy parents need to use extreme caution when switching their new pup's food...most breeders have this on their contract, to feed the same food for up to a year. You can switch when they are couple of months older, have gained a little weight & the food switch doesn't cause any digestive upset. Bc if it does, they stop eating & that causes low blood sugar, making them have a hypoglycemic attack. Bigger puppies, not so much, but Yorkie pups are so small, it's very common. There's one puppy that is very sick in the sick & injured forum bc of food change. |
No she has them on the Life Protection which I believe isn't the puppy formula. Do you think it'll be too much change to switch to the puppy one even if its the same brand?
