 Yes, we use our Flea& tick drops year round.
We tried two types of flea & tick drops. The first brand did not work well out here in the country; I found 3 ticks on Taffy when he was a pup!! We switched over to the Advantix II brand, and have had great results!! Use it year round.
We also have a round wire-mesh doggy play-pen in the basement if we have to leave Taffy alone over a weekend...only once in a great while. Our sister-in-law takes him for walks, checks food & water,and changes his potty newspapers in his plastic shoe/boot tray we found at WalMart. To be on the safe side, I sprinkle a powdery trail of Hartz Flea powder around the whole perimeter of the outside of the pen. IF an. y fleas do hop in through the basement door while we are gone, that powder-ring around the outside of the pen stops the little pests dead! |
