When I was buying my hose several people in the store told me that they have them and they love them. So maybe my husband was heavy handed and cracked the plastic by screwing it on too tight. Or maybe some batches weren't made up to standard. I'm glad you got a good one. I was so looking forward to this hose--I got the 50 ft. one because I have a really long back yard and it is such a pain to unreel the regular hose to water back there.
